Dachomo Sylvester Davou hails from Plateau State. He is a Doctor of Ministry, from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, MA, USA. He has M. Sc. Degree in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, and Bachelor Degree in Divinity from TCNN/University of Jos. He is an ordained Pastor of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN). Pastor Sylvester is an evangelical teacher, music instructor, and currently the Registrar at Gindiri Theological Seminary, with a number of phenomenal interfaith and theological publications to his credit, informed by his two decades of vast and deep local and foreign theological and interfaith works and experience.
Rev. Dachomo maintains that interreligious dialogue and mediation creates the much needed avenue for mutual discussions and understanding among adherents of different faiths for peaceful coexistence and makes the world a better place. He believes the Fellowship program will offer him more knowledge in interfaith and the opportunity for networking. For him, the COFP Fellowship Program will provide more nutrients for the curriculum of the Gindiri Theological Seminary and will enable him to build better interfaith backgrounds in the minds of his students. He loves music and traveling.
