Empowering Displaced Women & Girls in IDP Camps
Plans are on the way towards empowering destitute women and girls living in refugees/IDP camps in northeast Nigeria. This activity has become an annual event for the Foundation because, we see it as one of the ways through which women’s voices and freedom would be restored after the Boko Haram and Herdsmen killings trauma. COFP will therefore, empower over 200 women in Adamawa and Yobe between April and May 2018 with vocational skills on bakery/pastries and industrial production. The beneficiaries will receive starter kits each at the end of the training period.
Start: Sept 2018 End Dec. 2018
