Mukhtar Tukur Sulaiman is a Shiite Muslim from Sokoto South Local government Area of Sokoto State. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics from Usman Danfodiyo University and also a professional Diploma in Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He currently teaches at Aminu Ginga Memorial Secondary School, Shagari in Sokoto State. He has worked in Yobe, Lafia and Sokoto States and has many volunteer experiences with World Health Organization. He is the Assistant Secretary of the Rasulul A’Azam Foundation (RAAF),
Mukthtar believes with skills in interreligious mediation and dialogue, a lot of crises and conflicts would have been averted and several lives lost would have been saved with secured communities. He hopes to learn and apply interreligious dialogue skills in his state. He believes that the skills learnt during the Fellowship will help him to understand the importance of dialogue and mediation in order to engage his peers and community in peaceful living.
