In order to strengthen collaboration among Africa’s faith communities for peace, COFP in collaboration with Religions for Peace, GHR Foundation and USAID organized Pan-African conference with the team “Faith Works Africa: Partnership for Peace and Prosperity” from Oct 17-21 2016 in Abuja. The gathering addressed the need to build resilient communities that will work together for common good.

About 300 Religious leaders from diverse religious communities including men women and youth were drawn from different parts of Africa and walks of life for this event.

Issues Discussed during the break-out sessions include:

  • Humanitarian assistance
  • Women Empowerment
  • Child well-being and protection
  • Small Arms and Light Weapons
