Recognition of COFP’s Outstanding Staff and Team at the Close of the Year
As the year drew to a close, COFP Foundation took a moment to reflect on the dedication, resilience, and excellence of its team members who continue to drive the mission and vision of the Foundation. In a brief but inspiring end-of-year staff recognition ceremony, the Foundation while appreciating all staff and celebrating with the birthday celebrants of the last quarter of the year, honoured the dedication and commitment of some staff whose exemplary conduct stood out in the year 2024. Consequently, Mr. Nicholas Dike emerged as the Most Punctual Staff of the Year, a recognition that underscores his consistent reliability and time consciousness throughout the year. Closely following in this remarkable trait were Mrs. Augustina Richards, COFP’s diligent Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and Mr. Anthony Musa, the Legal and Research Officer, who were respectively named second and third in the punctuality category. The climax of the event was the announcement of Mr. Tope Bello as the recipient of the prestigious Best Performing and Most Dedicated Staff of the Year Award. Mr. Bello’s work ethic, team spirit, as well as commitment to COFP’s values and projects were praised by both colleagues and management. His tireless contributions, often going beyond the call of duty, have significantly shaped the Foundation’s impact this year. Of importance was the financial and material motivation which goes with the award for each of the recipients and to all the COFP staff and volunteers as the Foundation closed for the year. In her remarks, the Executive Director, Rev. Sr. Agatha Chikelue, DMMMM commended the entire team for their collective efforts, emphasizing that “every contribution counts but excellence in service is the heartbeat of sustainable every organization.” She encouraged all staff to continue fostering hard-work, collaboration, and innovation as COFP prepares to take on new milestones in the coming year.
