COFP Recognizes and Rewards Most Punctual Staff
Punctuality at work demonstrates commitment to duty and shows one’s respect for the organization and its management. It also boosts one’s confidence in the discharge of his/her duties. Recognizing this as one of the ways to motivate staff members, it has become a practice now at COFP that at the end of every six months, staff members who are exceptional in punctuality to the office are rewarded. That was why from the period of January 8th 2025 to 30th June 2025, the following staff emerged as the most punctual: Nicholas Dike with the first position scored 92 points, Augustina Richard who took the second position with a total score of 83 points and was closely followed by the third position – Anthony Musa who scored 80 points. The award which was assessed based on punctuality to the office between 7am and 8am was rewarded with cash donations to the recipients.
In a remark, the Executive Director, Rev. Sr. Agatha Chikelue, DMMM commended not just the awardees but some other staff for improvement on their resumption timing and encouraged others to emulate them. She noted that it was indeed commendable that for over a period of two years now, some staff especially the recipients have consistently made it a point of duty to resume work on daily basis latest one hour before the official resumption of working time.
