The COFP Fellowship Program continues to make a positive impact in Nigeria and across Africa. In its 7th year, the program successfully completed its first two modules, making significant strides in peacebuilding and interfaith dialogue. The first module, held from July 28 to August 4, 2024, introduced fellows to interreligious dialogue, conflict transformation, and mediation, equipping them with essential skills for community-based peacebuilding. In the second module, which took place from November 26 to December 3, 2024, fellows learned practical tools for conflict management, project design, and deeper engagement in interfaith dialogue. They shared experiences of how the program has influenced their peacebuilding efforts, with many already planning their own community peace projects. Since the Fellowship began, Fellows have embraced interreligious dialogue, recognizing religious misrepresentation and manipulation and acquiring skills on how to address them effectively.
