One Mission – Many Gifts: A Shared Commitment to Building Peace

Guided by the theme, One Body, Many Gifts,” the 2026 Annual Staff Retreat convened the Foundation’s leadership and staff on 8th January, creating a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and renew a shared commitment to the Foundation’s mission. Designed to strengthen both individual wellbeing and a renewed zeal, the retreat created an opportunity to reconnect with the values that underpin COFP’s peacebuilding work, foster resilience, and deepen the bonds that sustain effective collaboration.

Facilitated by Rev. Fr. Boniface Neibo, Deputy Director of the Foundation, the retreat wove together moments of spiritual reflection, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, one-on-one spiritual guidance and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Drawing inspiration from 1 Corinthians 12:12, his reflection on servant leadership, inner peace and resilience in service underscored the strength found in unity. He challenged staff to embrace leadership as an act of coordination and team work reminding every team member that their unique gifts contribute to a common purpose and calling each person to pursue intentional actions that advance the Foundation’s mission.
