Recognizing the fact that no child should be denied access to education because of financial hardship, the Foundation remains more committed to expanding access to quality education for the vulnerable children through its scholarship program. While basic education is officially free in Nigeria, the hidden costs of schooling continue to prevent many indigent families from keeping their children in school. To bridge this gap, COFP provides targeted scholarships that remove these financial barriers, enabling beneficiaries to pursue their education with dignity, confidence, and hope while easing the burden on parents and guardians.

Since the program’s inception, COFP has awarded scholarships to 465 vulnerable children in primary and secondary schools, including 104 new beneficiaries enrolled between January and June 2026. During the first and second terms of the 2025/2026 academic session, the initiative reached children across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Niger, Nasarawa and Ekiti States. More than financial assistance, each scholarship represents an investment in human potential and integral human development, empowering young people to realize their aspirations, strengthening families, and contributing to a more inclusive, educated and prosperous nation.
