CANEP was formed to enable Fellows from past sets of the Fellowship program enjoy a platform where they can meet, reach out to one another, plan and work together on how to continue to promote peace in their localities.
On the morning of Friday, 12th May 2023, members of the CANEP Africa came in to participate in the induction ceremony of the COFP Fellowship class of 2023, who were all seated and ready to be inducted into the CANEP family. In the course of the event, both past and current fellows were given the chance to speak extensively in turns about the impact the Fellowship program has had on their lives, as well as their various communities across Africa. Each Fellow’s story was a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and collaboration. They had come from different corners of the world, representing diverse cultures, religions, and experiences, yet they had forged deep bonds of friendship and solidarity. Through their projects, they had learned that peace was not a lofty ideal but a tangible reality that could be achieved through dedication and perseverance.
