Nura Hayatu Ashafa

Nura Hayatu Ashafa is a Muslim from Kaduna state. He is the Program Officer, Peace and Conflict Youth Engagement Advisor, Muslim Matters at Interfaith Mediation Center (IMC), Kaduna. He holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Management and Peace Studies from the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

One of Nura’s primary motivations is the unique structure of the COFP Fellowship, which is specifically designed by Africans for Africans, ensuring that the training is deeply rooted in our cultural context. Ultimately, Nura believes that his participation in the Fellowship will not only improve his personal and professional growth but also contribute to the broader mission of IMC in promoting trust, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
