John Gospel Gana is of the irigwe tribe in Bassa local government area of Plateau State. He possess and M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and a B.Sc. in Psychology all from the University of Jos, and he is an Assistant Lecturer, Department of General & Applied Psychology, University of Jos. He is the current Secretary General of the Irigwe Youth Movement and has worked in various capacities both at the State and local government levels and has won different awards among which is the Best Graduating Student in Psychology. He has published two research works on social issues.
As an exco of the Irigwe Youth Movement, John has been deeply and passionately involved in the intervention for peace between his community people and the herdsmen in the unfortunate conflict that has dangerously wrestled and unsettled his community resulting in terrible loss of live and property. He is poised to learn more about interreligious tolerance and mediation during the Fellowship Program in order to effectively engage and mobilize Irigwe youths and community structures for peace initiatives with the herdsmen.
