Bata Hauwa is a member of Church of the Brethren Borno State & a reporter with Radio Nigeria Peace FM, Maiduguri. She holds B. A in Mass Communication from the University of Maiduguri, Certificate in Journalism from National Broadcast Academy, Lagos, and a P.G.D in Strategic Planning.
Hauwa wants to acquire knowledge in interreligious dialogue and mediation which she believes will help her to promote peace through journalism. Thus, her hunger for peace in Borno State motivated her to apply for the Fellowship Program.
