Haruna Yau is from Plateau state. He holds a Grade II Teaching Certificate. Presently he is the Chairman of the Plateau State Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, living in Dutsen Kura, Bassa Local Government Area. Haruna believes interreligious dialogue and mediation is necessary tool for peace, and he hopes to utilize the interreligious mediation skills obtained from the Fellowship program to advocate peace between the herdsmen and community people in his community and country through peace sensitization for development and building strong and functional peace building networks. He is a Fulani Muslim who is tired of conflicts in his community and loves his animals.
