Rev. Fr. Kachalla Innocent is an indigene of Adamawa State and a Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja. He has a Bachelor Degrees in Sacred Theology (B.S.T) and Philosophy (B. Phil) respectively from St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Makurdi, Nigeria. In addition to many past and current pastoral assignments and experiences, Fr. Kachalla is the Assistant vocations Director of the Archdiocese of Abuja.
Fr. Kachalla sees his vocation to the Holy Catholic Priesthood as a call to mediation and promotion of peace in the world. Motivated by the continuous rise of religious extremism and intolerance, he is keen on acquiring more knowledge and skills in interreligious dialogue and mediation, and he hopes to apply acquired skills in the better formation of young priests in the Archdiocese of Abuja and beyond. These skills will also generally enhance his conflict resolution ability in his pastoral works. His hobbies include; reading, listening to music and engaging intellectual and analytical discussions.
